Hello! My husband and I are having our second child. Unless an unplanned miracle comes along, this will be our last as well. Our first child was named Johnathan after my husband who’s name is Johnathan. We are expecting a baby girl and would like to name it after me like we did with johnathan(who is three by the way). However my name is Evellenne which is pronounced eve-ellaine-ee. Very confusing, and i had trouble through life with pronunciation, etc. the usual..., so I am not naming my daughter this name exactly.. however, should we spell it the same and pronounce it eve-ellen. or should we simply use just eve or ellen.. also, with eve and ellen, what would be the best choice for a middle name? should we use my middle name as we did with johnathan naming him completely after my husband or should we use mn eve for ellen as fn or vis a versa?
I come from a big Irish upbringing and my grandfather used to sing these songs to me as I went to sleep. Hear My Song Violetta and Machusla. I always wanted to name my first born daughter after them. Please help me decide which name should be first.
Help please! I’m usually really good with names, but I can’t come up with the perfect one this time. It’s for a character in a story. Her last name is Roscoe, and I need help thinking of the perfect, unique name for her. She’s got dark, reddish/brown hair and is somewhat artistic and creative. She’s also cheerful and bright. Can anyone who’s great at naming help me think of some ideas? (You can include middle names if you want, I just need the first name to sound good with the last name really). Thanks so much! ~ Freelancer

My husband and I really like the nn Emmy, and we have been finally found a name that we think is perfect, and has the cute nn Emmy. We just don’t know how to spell the name- Emmeline, Emeline, or Emmaline. We would also like to know pronunciation you like better- Emma-lyn or Emma-line. Thanks so much!
