What do you think of the name Lauren Estelle? Lauren is our favorite girl name and we are most definitely using it for our daughter.
Rosie will be our daughter’s name. It’s short, sweet, charming, and beautiful to us. We are using Rosie by itself and not as a nickname so please do not suggest any longer first names. We are looking for opinions on the name Olivia as we thought of using it as a middle name for our little Rosie. Does Rosie Olivia pair together well? Feel free to suggest other middle name!

My daughter and son in law are having a little girl, their first child. They will be honoring a woman who has been in my daughter’s life for years now and who my son in law came to know when he started dating my daughter. I have always been jealous of the woman as my daughter would always talk about how great and motherly and loving she is and how much she looks up to her, she would also give her gifts for holidays including mother’s day. My son in law’s mother also feels the same way I do and we are both very upset that our children is honoring a woman that is not us. We haven’t had much conversation with the woman besides at my daughter’s wedding but we feel like our children look up to her too much. We both had people look up to us which we were always fine with but when it comes to our children looking up to this woman and wanting to honor her we find it hurtful. We want to talk our children out of honoring the woman. Any advice?
