Fun! Baby Name Polls
Hone your baby naming skills and help others. Which baby names are best?
So I posted a poll a few days ago about finding a name for our little one. We are Mennonite, and names circulate around a lot, and many people have the same name, or similar sounding names. We are looking for something a little bit different. We had posted our list, and we got so much help, and we thank you all so much! The top three for boys and girls on that poll are, Evander Scott, Lincoln Milo, Everett Hawk, and Lucy Genevieve, Hazel Devin, and Ramona Reese. We could still use your help narrowing them down, and there is another problem. We added to our list. We got some suggestions on that poll, and we added them to our list. We have added Beckett Carter, Atticus Judah, Asa Jedidiah, and Ronan Thaddeus, and Priscilla Juliet, Arabella Violet, Georgia Grace, Adelaide Margo, Felicity Rose, Violet Emerson, and Imogen Faith. We are disagreeing a bit on the name Asa. My Husband isn't sure he can see it on a Mennonite boy/man, especially since most have more common/not so exotic names. What do you think? And also which name for a boy and which name for a girl do you like best? Thanks so much!
We love the name Cohen for our baby boy but have been told that it can be offensive to some people. What do you think? Thanks, Sam
We received a lot of great suggestions on our last poll. Thanks so much to all that helped! Our list will be in the comments. Please just choose ONE favorite and least favorite! Thanks!
We are expecting our first child, a little girl, in June. We are struggling to find a first name to go with our surname Eschler esh-ler. We would love some suggestions! We don't have any particular taste in names. Her middle name will be Kathleen after my mom. Thanks!
Jane got a lot of votes on our poll yesterday. A few people suggested June as well. Older sisters are Vera Hazel(6) and Alice Marie(2). We also still like Ann or May, if you want to bring those back.
Hey, we're having triplet girls (I know- YIKES). Two are identical. We are thinking of the names Riley, Jordan and Charlotte (Riley and Jordan being the identical babies). Thoughts on the names? We also need help with their middle names. We were thinking of having their middle names be names such as Hope, Faith, Joy, Grace, etc. We'd love to hear your opinion on that idea and suggestions for which names should be paired together! Last name is Wilson. Thanks! -Sarah, Oscar, and big brother Elijah (5)
If it was you expecting a daughter like I am, would you choose any of these descriptive names from the following list: Bonnie, Happy, Honey, Jolly, Lacey, Merry, Minnie, Misty, Queenie, Stormy or Sunny? Can any of them stand on their own or do you just like them as nicknames for fuller names?
Hello everyone, I could use some help picking a name for our little one. We have a bit of a unique situation. We are Mennonite. There are names that circulate around in the Mennonite faith. Many people have the same name, or names that are very similar. We want something a little more unique. We have a list of names that we haven't heard on anyone. We would like your thoughts on the name you think is best. For boys we have, Devlin Tucker, Evander Scott, Luca Jasper, Lincoln Milo, Everett Hawk, Willard Oscar, and Ruslan Bryce. For girls we have, Teagan Belle, Lucy Genevieve, Hazel Devin, Amelia Marilyn, Lacy Rowan, Jayden Mara, and Ramona Reese. Thanks for the help!
How would you spell Ashton for a girl or would you leave it as is.
I'm 23 weeks and struggling to find names and think this might give me some inspiration well having a little fun before we die. Comment your kids or what you want your future kids names without any vowels and someone has to guess and comment their own? makes sense? GO
