I have a few of my fav names in the first comment, can you please comment on what style they are??? Like are they trendy, frilly, modern, vintage, preppy, traditional, or something else? Also, can you comment names that are a similar style? Thank you so very much, and I can’t wait to read and respond to your comments! Names below:

Hi everyone, my husband and I are pregnant and are looking for some inspiration! We will not be finding out the gender of our child, so we figured the easiest way to get name ideas is by asking our fellow baby namers what their kids names are. We would love to hear!

We are having a little girl! She is our first child and we want her to have an unusual name. We saw Nightingale on a different poll not too many below ours and pretty much fell in love with it. But we would love to get some other name ideas that are like that one! Her middle name will be Opal-Claire after my mom(Claire) and my husband’s grandmother(Opal). Nightingale Opal-Claire is a very pretty combo to us! But could you please suggest some other unusual girl names like Nightingale to go with middle name Opal-Claire? Nothing like a normal name spelled weirdly though. Thanks! ~Heather

We want to use Sosie for our baby girl but it seems like more of a nickname than a full name to us. We also worry that it won’t age well as she get’s older and want to give her a full name option if she should decide she doesn’t want to go by Sosie. We thought of Suzanna but we don’t know if Sosie would work as a nn for Suzanna. Her middle name will most likely be Brielle, which is the second part of my first name Gabrielle. Thanks! Hi there, we’re expecting a baby girl and we’re stuck between a whole list of names! Could you tell us your top three and bottom three? She’ll be joining big brother Theodore ’Teddy’ - thanks!

Hi. We have two lists. One is mine and one is my husband’s. If you could tell us your favourite and least favourite from each list, that’d be great. We would welcome one or two suggestions, as well. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I have officially decided on a boy name! However, we dont know the sex of our baby and my gut is telling me we are having a girl. The problem is... we have a pretty hefty list of baby girl names we really like but cant seem to narrow down... infact... we keep adding to it. lol My intent is to find a first and middle name out of the names we have. That way we know w absolutely love the entire name. Unfortunately we arent looking for any new name suggestions because it will just confuse us further! The list is in the first comment. Please pick a first and middle name from the list. 1-3 combos at most. Nicknames also appreciated! Thank You!!!

I have 3 daughters, Shannon Kate, Allison Rose, ans Erin Kelly. I am now pregnant with my fourth and would like an Irish name that "goes with" the other three. Any ideas?

Can you think of any girls names that can’t have any variations in spelling? I know names like Hailey have 100 different spellings. I was recently talking to a friend about name choices (she’s a teacher) and she listed off at least 2 spellings she had seen among her students for each name we like. I don’t want anything too crazy, but definitely something that can’t be spelt another way. Does a name like that exist?? I’ve been looking, but I always seem to come up with something and I know "unique" spellings are popular right now. Thanks for the help!~Em

Can you give me suggestions of your favourite girl variation of a boy name? Like Jordana (Jordan) or Justine (Justin)? I really really don’t want to use a boys name. But I kind of like the spunky-ness or sporty-ness of names like Jordana or Justine. But they’re still distinctly female, you know? Favourite 4 or 5 would be good. Thanks!

we want names that are short and sweet and simple. I will put a list of some name combos weve made, but you can switch them if you’d like our suggest some more, and eliminate others
