Hello! We’re in search of a classic girl name that has a short, cute nickname. Anything come to mind? Our last name is Cane if that helps. Thank you! -P&Z Cane

It seems to be impossible finding a name for our daughter! My boyfriend loves trendy, misspelled, and unisex names (e.g. Everly/Everleigh/Everlee, Brynley/Brynnleigh, and Avery/Avereigh) but I love old fashioned names (e.g. Penelope, Alice, and Louise/Louisa). Our styles are very different which makes agreeing on a name super hard. What we can agree on is that we do not want a name with a nickname and it can’t end in the long E sound (like Everly, Avery, or Penelope). Also we have agreed we are going to use the name of a close family member for her middle name. Please give us some ideas! Thanks! ~Jonah & Shay

We have a long list to narrow down and saw this type of poll and we think it’ll definitely help us! You can eliminate only one and we are doing no bring backs. Please help us get it down to one or two! Our daughter is Lizzy Janine (3). We like all sorts of names and don’t have a real style. We don’t need middle names right now. Thanks!

Hi. I’m having my first child in a matter of weeks, so can you comment your four favorite names (2 boy, 2 girl) starting with the letter A then the next person comments their favorite names starting with the letter B and so on. If we get to Z can you start again from A? Thank you

Or Hailey/Haley? Which name do you like? The middle name will be Anne or Paige. Which combo do you like?

What do you do when you have a young daughter (19) who’s having a baby girl and she picks one of the worse names in history of names and won’t listen to anyone that tells her the name is completely horrid and that her child will hate her for giving her the horrid name?

I apologize that this is off topic, but I LOVE and frequently vote on this site and was hoping you could help me. What are some fun and creative ideas for announcing a pregnancy to your husband? Last time it just kind of slipped out and he ended up accidently stabbing a pop can with a pocket knife (long story). Although I’m not sure I’m pregnant yet, we have been trying and I have a suspicion. Can you please help me make this second announcement more special? Our daughter is 2, and it would be fun to let her help, but not necessary. Thanks so much!

Hello, we are expecting twins (though we do not know their sex) and my husband and I are a bit stuck on their names! We have been told our preferred naming style is "prim and proper", do you have any suggestions? We have found names we like (such as Charles, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Victoria) but we do not love any. We definitely want longer names, with a possibility of nicknames, and we also do not want a name that is too overused either. Thank you! ~Benjamin and Eleanor Gray

Trying this again, as we still have long lists: Hello! We are Nick and Jane, and we are expecting... TRIPLETS!!!! Not to give too much info, but we couldn’t get pregnant on our own, so we used Clomid. I got pregnant for the first time after only two treatments. Almost four years ago, I gave birth to my son, Brandon Trevor Smith. We decided we wanted more children, and... well, as you know, we are now pregnant with trips! As far as genders go: at first, they were pretty positive they were all boys, and I prepared myself for four boys running around. Then, they tentatively suggested GBG triplets, and I thought two and two was adorable. However, the past three doctors appointments have all said very clearly that there were two boys and one baby girl in there, so we’re about 90% sure that’s what’s happenin’. We have a long list of boys names- and the final four will be our boys’ first and middle names. We have a semi-shorter list of girls names- final two, our baby girl’s first and middle. Only eliminate one from each list please! List in comment! -Family of SIX!

Hi! We are expecting a little girl and we are having some problems. We want to have a name that isn’t super common as we have a very common last name but we haven’t found anything that fits what we’re looking for: a classy name that ages well and is very feminine/girly. Any ideas? We have decided on Amy as her middle name. Thanks!

I have pretty LONG list of girl’s names...eliminate ONE per comment! Also, please no updated lists as i woon’t be able to check the results for a while and i will tally it up on my own later. I am open to suggestions, as long as they are one syllable and go with my style: i like sweet, feminine names as well as girl unisex names. I hope you can help me out! ~Kimberly
