Hello all! We have b/g/g triplets on the way and we need another girl’s name. We will name the boy Heath and one of the girls Haven. We need another name that starts with an H and is uncommon but not too strange. Thanks!

I love Older vintage names and when I found out I was having a girl I fell in love with Dorothy. I love the nicknames Dottie or dot :) but I have always loved Gretta as well. Can you help me choose from my small list: Dorothy, Gretta, Harriet, Alice, and Rosie. Big brother Charles Dean! Can’t wait to see your favorites off my list :):) thanks

Excited to be adopting a little girl from China named Lian (Lee-Yan). We will keep her name and we are looking for a pretty middle name that goes well with it and with our surname Humphrey. Thank you!

I posted twice about a nicknaming dilemma regarding my due soon daughter’s name Andromeda. Friends/family renamed her every nickname I didn’t like and it irked me lol I’m aiming for the intros to go like "This is my daughter Andromeda but you can call her ______". Simple yet assertive. The nicknames Ana, Anita, and Mae (our fav most natural nicknames) have been discussed and will be nicknames used only at home as they will be shared with other members of the family and I don’t want any confusion (or grief). I also eliminated Minnie, Audra, and Audrey already and I don’t like Romy/Andi at all. That leaves us with Arya or Ada/Adda up for her "main" nickname. We are pronouncing Ada/Adda like Ana with a D (Add-ah/yes✅) (A-duh/no❎). Which do you prefer? P.s I know the nicknames are a stretch and I’m fine with that. Just tell me your honest opinion on whether you would rather call her Arya, Ada/Adda, or by her full name Andromeda? Thanks again!

We’re currently - finally - in the process of adopting our children. What we could do, alongside adoption, is change their names. They are called Cash Pryce (8), Chanel Cartier nn CeCe(4) and Carrion Way nn Carrie (1). We’re not sure whether we should change them, especially Cash’s, since he goes by that and he uses it at school. Besides life this is what their birth mother gave them. We’re afraid changing their names would hurt them, later in life. On the other hand, we’re afraid their names might hurt them in their later life, because they’re so unprofessional. Then what If we change his sisters’ names and he’s the odd one out. We don’t really know what to call Chanel IF we were to give her a full name. With our older son we kept his name, we changed his first to his middle name though, so his name is Joseph Reign. But he went by Joseph always, so that was easier... Basically just a lot of problems. Any advice on the topic is absolutely welcome! Any suggestions for alternate names, too. Thank you! Stella & Thomas

Would love to hear what you all think of the name Norma. If you think it would be nice with our last name (Quinn) - then please give some ideas for middle names. Thanks so much!

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU VOTE. This polls is for a BOY. I am making this poll because it seems that many of my favorite names for a boy have the consensus of having gone to the girls. I first heard the name Eden as a boy character’s name in a book. Nova is a male character in Marvel Comics. And Reagan is just one of those names, like Kendall, that were boys names for years and suddenly became only useable on girls for some inexplicable reason. I have nothing against names being used for both genders, but I think it’s somewhat ridiculous that unisex has, in some cases, has come to mean "girls only". Please reply with your thoughts on if any of these can still be used for a son. I have other names like Jack and Asher that I like too, just in case, but please help me decide if I can use any of these.

I have a bit of a dilemma. I really like the name Carter for a girl. Everyone says that it’s for boys though. I’m not a fan of Carsen or Carly. Is Carter usable.
