We are keeping the gender a surprise, but we have chosen Aaron/Erin as the name (both are big family names). However I just do not like the spelling Erin. I don’t want it to look too weird, but I would like it to look a little less plain than Erin. Suggestions?! We also may spell Aaron as Arron if its a boy. But still open for suggestions on both! Thank You!! PS boy’s middle name will be Turner, hers will be Camille or Michelle.

Hey there! I still haven’t really found anything, so I’m going to try this a different way. What would you give a first name to Miles, Archer, and Lilia’s little sister (middle name will be Heather)? The name cannot end with "Lia" or re-use a letter of her siblings (and nothing really long that always gets shortened to a nickname, we don’t like nicknames/planned nicknames). Thanks! ~Shea

Please explain to me the fascination with using traditionally male names on girls? Is this a form of feminism? Attempt to be different? A desire to have a tomboy? I feel like I can no longer assume anything about a person’s gender by looking at their name.

I am pregnant with a baby girl and I chose the name Casper. I thought Casper was the only spelling, but I recently had someone ask if I was spelling is Caspar. Which spelling do you like best? Which is the most common? I know Casper is a name you either love or hate, but I only need to know which spelling. I don’t need to know that it makes you think of Casper the friendly ghost. Okay, I made a poll a little bit ago, asking which name you liked better for my daughter. They were all book characters. Out of the 4 options, 3 of them received votes so I have decided to make a new poll with those three instead. They are all strong female characters from books (and movies). We are both active readers and enjoy it and the characters. You may suggest names but we prefer modern books not so much as classics, except maybe nicknames (Scout).
