We plan to use the first name Elodie and are deciding between these middle names. Also considering Elodie Kate and Elodie Sofia. Last name is 3 syllables, so I lean towards keeping the middle short?

We’re having our first girl after 4 boys and are in love with these 3 names. The middle names aren’t set in stone, feel free to suggest any that you like. Her brothers are Dominic Blake, Ian Thomas, Elliot James, and Lucas Foster. Thank you!! -Laura and Jason

I am planning on naming my son a name that is being mostly used for girls now but used to be strictly a boys name. I have gotten mixed reviews but I would like to know why people are afraid of using names that are more popular on girls on a boy. Is it due to the fear that their son won’t be viewed as masculine? Fear of being made fun of? Please be honest. Thank you

Is it okay to name our girl these long names and sort of make up nicknames that go with them. The middle names are definite with the two names. Should we keep these names and the middle names or just completely take out the middle names and which name is better. Thanks, Jon and Jill.

Hello there! My husband & I are expecting our first child (keeping the sex a surprise) and we are in desperate need for help. Due to a long story that I’m fairly certain none of you care about, we can’t really go to either of our families for help with names. We want something that is unique/uncommon, yet not made up and still be able to age well as our child grows up. I’ve done a bit of "creeping" on this site and found some names from some polls that we are liking: Nava, Zabel, and Cleo for a girl & Lavi, Hazael, Alistair/Alastair & Ezekiel for a boy (sorry for "taking" anyones’ names!). What are your thoughts on those and do you have any other suggestions? Thank you so, SO much! --Katar and Harry

I’m having my second child and it’s a girl but hubby and I can’t think of a name for her. Her older brothers name is Perseus (like Percy Jackson). Any suggestions? And please no names from the Percy Jackson books.

We picked Hayden for our daughters middle name. But now we need your help to find her first name.

Or Ptolemy Lucian (the [removed]ilent/tahl eh mee) or Robin but neither of us is crazy about using a unisex name so maybe a double first name with something short and manly next to it? Or maybe not ... Big brother is named Leo Rorik and we are set on continuing the "strong animal like theme". Suggestions more than welcome! Thanks!~ Micah, Fleur, Leo, and baby boy Moran
