I am due any day now. Back at my baby shower when I was six months along, my mother in law told me that I should rethink the names I picked for my daughters. She said they made me sound like a drinker. I didn’t get it at first and then my sister explained to me what she meant. Ever since then, I’ve been worried that my little girls are going to get picked on. I wanted to name them Margaret and Sarita with the nicknames of Margo and Rita. Apparently, if you say Margo and Rita together fast, it sounds like margarita. My husband keeps telling me not to worry about what she says, but I don’t want anyone to pick on my girls if I can prevent it. What do you think? Is my mother in law right? Please help me! Thanks! ~Lorena

Hello. My husband and I are having another baby. Our last name is Kingston. We already have a beautiful boy named Samuel Lee Kingston. He is two. We also have a gorgeous daughter named Sara Judith Kingston. She is four. We are having another wonderful little girl. We are thinking Michelle for the middle name, but are not sure for the first name. We like Scarlett, Sapphire, and Stella. We really need to pick the name. We are already five months pregnant! Thank you in advance. We are open to other suggestions for both first and middle, but we really like Scarlett, Sapphire, and Stella. Thank you from Bea, Eric, Sara, and Sam

We think Keely is ADORABLE, but we think it sounds a bit trashy as a full name (no offense!) What are some full names for Keely?

Hubby and I went to go see that movie "Just Go With It" and about a week later I found out I had a bun in the oven. One of the main characters in the movie is named Palmer. We both like different and unusual names (our three sons are Brighton, Drexel and Finnean) but Palmer just might be too unusual. We’ve been pouring over baby books but we keep going back to Palmer. Hubs biggest concern, and I apologize for the crudeness, is that there is a saying "have fun with your palm" and he doesn’t want our little girl to be connected with negative or perverse connotations. I agree, but my mind doesn’t really go in that directions when hearing the name. Please list any opinion you have on the name and thanks bunches! -Nina and Will

Looking for a British quirky-chic name for our little one! Middle name must be a variation of Carlie, but not the exact name or any other spelling of Carlie. Thanks so much!

So, I like old-fashioned names with cute, fashionable nickname options, and I need your help picking one for my newest arrivals! I know that there are a lot of twin polls on this site, but please don’t leave comments calling this one fake. I’m not creating a fake sob story, I just need some help naming my babies. I already have two daughters, Margaret Rose nn Greta and Theresa Jean nn TJ. The twins will be boy/girl so I need suggestions for both sexes. Their middle names will DEFINITELY be Celeste and Harrison. Thank you so much! - the McGinley family.

Hi! I have three children called Karen Amelia Goodman -16, Erin Viola Goodman -12 & William Owen Goodman -7. I am now expecting triplets! G/G/B! We would like the girls names to end in an ’n’ and the boys name to end ’m’. Have you got any suggestions? Thanks!

So here’s the deal: my cousin recently had a daughter whom she named Agnes Marie (nn Nessie). I love the nickname Aggie, and want to name my daughter Agatha (please no comments on the name). My cousin lives on the other side of the US, but I’m worried that the names will be too close. What do you think? If they’re too close, can you think of any names similar in style? If they’re fine, middle names for Agatha? Thank you!
