My husband and I are having our first baby. It sounds strange but we want our baby girls name to be related to the state North Carolina. I love the name Carolina but I do not want her nn to be Carol. Also, at the same time, is Carolina a pretty name? Do you have any suggestions? One of our family members suggested Charolette

Our other kids have longer names that we sometimes shorten, Isabella(Bella) and Madeline (Maddi.) I love Eli but am wondering if that’s too much of a nickname. Would Elijah or Elias nn Eli be better? Thoughts??

I would really love some input on the name Neve! I’ve recently really started liking it. What do you think of when you hear this name? Thanks sooo much!

I am a big fan of Marilyn Monroe. She’s kind of my idol, lol. I am having a girl who is due anyday now - she’s actually overdue! Since I don’t like the name Monroe (unless it’s a surname), and none of the characters she played I like that much, I’ve decided to just try to find a name with a similar feel to Marilyn. I like how it’s very classic and viragos and I don’t really know the word. I REALLY don’t want the name to be popular, though!!! So please don’t suggest any popular names! I also don’t like trendy name (boys names for girls, "unique" spellings, or other trendy names). Thanks ! - Janessa

We have twin girls, Savannah and Sophia and a son, Hunter. We are expecting another girl and would appreciate help with our list. Our list: Lacey Michelle, Zoe Haven, Katelyn Sidney, Kendra Shannon, Audrina Shailene and Shayla Grace. We don’t want suggestions or to mix up the combos, we just need help deciding. Please comment your favorite. Thank you, Kathy Thibodeaux

My husband and I are having the hardest time agreeing on a name for our little girl. He wants Charlotte, which I cant stand that name or any of the nicknames. I technically don’t have a certain name that I absolutely want but I do love Holland, Lauren, Blakeley, Emma, Maci. Please leave your thoughts and suggestions we need all the help we can get. Her middle name will be Sophia. Thanks!~Noel & Jason

It was just suggested to us in our last poll and we quite like it! It honors my husband Timothy perfectly while he can still have his own name which I love. How do you pronounce it? What would you call him for short besides Tim/Timmy? If you dont like it feel free to mix and match however if it isn’t October, Constantine, or Timotheus we would like a double first name. Our full list is October, Tober, Noble, Todd, Timotheus, Theoden, Thackery, Maddoc, Gentry, Basil, Magnus, Falcon, Knightley, Robbin, Idris, Sylvester, Hadrien, Harker, Charles, Constantine, Moses, and Zephyr. Hope we have better luck this time around, Thank you~ Tim and Libby

my husband and I are currently expecting our first kid we are having a little girl. We want to name her maximiliana but are afraid people won’t know how to pronounce it. We might call her Maxie but we are not so sure. Middle name is either Elizabeth or Sophia. Please tell us how you think it is pronounced and thoughts on the nickname maxie. ~Kendall

Hello, I first heard the name Levi as a child when a friend of mines brothers name came to light. As time grew I started liking the name and sound. We are expecting our baby boy in August and I’d love to use Levi. Only problem is my family is close to his parents. Meaning my mom is close to his parents. Do you think it would be weird to use it still? We are considering James Christian too. Thank you!

Hi, we’re stuck on a middle name for Colleen! I posted earlier, but still haven’t found one that we love! I’ll post what we have so far in the first comment, but more suggestions are welcome too :) Thanks!
