Hi everyone! My name is Emily and my husband, Logan, and I are expecting our second child. Because we decided to keep the gender a surprise, we could use both boy and girl name suggestions (first and middle)! He/she will be joining big sister Charlotte Grace(2). Thanks! -Emily, Logan and Charlotte

Pregnant with our first baby!!! My husband comes from a traditional Hispanic family, and wants out baby to have a traditional Hispanic name. But I’m not very convinced as I’ve always had set names I’ve liked for babies, and don’t know if I want to change these ideas even though its his tradition he wants to keep. What do you all think we should do? Hispanic? My ideas? Some sort of compromise? Thanks for any help.

I came across the name Capri and I believe I have instantly fell in love with it. I looked up the meaning to find that it is a nickname for Caprice. Caprice means whimsical and playful. I think that is a nice meaning. I think I am going to use it for my daughter. Now I’m not sure if I want to use Caprice and just call her Capri sometimes or just name her Capri. Leaning towards using Caprice nn Capri. In case you cannot pronounce them Caprice is ka-PREESE and Capri is cap-ree. Also I would love some middle name suggestions for this name

I know unisex names aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I happen to love them because they don’t force a strong masculine or feminine image on a child. These are intended as girl names, and the middles are more strongly feminine.

My husband is Irish, and I’m Italian. We would like our children to have one Irish name and one Italian name. We are considering using an English name for the first name, and then the Irish and Italian names for middle names. We’re thinking Niamh or Saoirse and Fiammetta or Francesca. Our last name is Breslin. What do you think? Thanks!
