I am really considering this name for my son, but I’m not sure which spelling looks best with my last name.

We have decided not to find out our baby’s gender until he or she is born so we want to come up with a name for each. We already know the name if it’s a boy, Toby Matthias. Matthias is my father-in-law’s name. We don’t really have any ideas for the girl’s name though. We already have Veronica Maeve and Phoebe Rebecca. If its a girl, her middle name will either be Gabrielle, Janine, or Anna. All of our kids have family names as their middle names. Thanks!

Hi again everyone! We are doing this again trying to make a final decision. So, we love the name Lana (LAWN-AH) but backwards it spells the word anal. Do you think its not a big deal & we should just keep Lana? Or is it a big deal & we need to change the spelling to Lanah? Our last name is 4 letters long and we like the matching number of letters in the first and last name. But not if you think she’ll get grief over it. Thanks so much for your help!

We need a middle name for Troy, which is what we have chosen for our baby if he is a boy. If the baby is a girl, we have no idea. We are very picky when it comes to names. Please list names that aren’t overly popular, but not made-up or really old-sounding. Make sense? Our older son is Andrew Thomas (4). This is just for first names for the girl and middle names for Troy. We will do a poll for girl middles when we have chosen a first name. Thanks!

I have two daughters, Lorelai and Amelia. Amelia’s nickname is Lia. We want to name our next daughter Lillian. But are Lia, Lorelai, and Lillian too close? We don’t like matchy names, so are these fine, or too close? Thanks!
