I am 14 and having my first baby. I really like unusual names. These are my top two. Which one do you like better? Thanks, Mackenna
Hi all. We are having triplets and have decided on names, but want to know what people think. The names are: Grant Xavier, Roman Chance, and Zola Naomi. One of my best girlfriends said that Zola sounded made up. It’s not, it’s Italian meaning ’piece of earth.’ We have a son named Talon Emmett. Thanks! ~Cora
We are leaning towards the name Cora. We know it’s kind of old-fashion, but maybe with an up to date middle name it would be in...Any really pretty suggestions for us? Thanks a million...
Her first name will be Brayden, no matter what anyone says. We just can’t decide between Lucia and Grace for her middle name. We have an older daughter named McCartney Anna. Thanks! ~Becky
Hi can anyone help us with a name that goes with Harrison (Harry). We would like a girls name starting with H, like Helena. Any ideas? Many thanks Anne and John :)
which is the best name? Decided on Kara but woke up this morning saying Talia. what do you all think?
We are in crisis mode. I am due in two weeks and we are having a little girl. The problem isn’t that we can’t think of names, the problem is that we can’t agree. I like more modern (not trendy) names like Alyssa or Mikayla. He likes older names ex. Martha, Hattie. Any suggestions would be so appreciated.
My sister is expecting a boy in late May, and she is stuck on the name Nile (like the river) Coal (spelled only this way). What are some opinions on the name? I looked it up in a few baby name books, and Nile is listed as an African-American/Urban name in every one. And my sister is very much white. Would it be weird to use this name or no?
I’ll repost this so it doesn’t look excessively long:
Hi! I posted a poll late last night asking about Italian names for my little girl, since our first two daughters (Aria Rose and Lucia Emilie) were unwittingly give Italian first names. We’d like to continue this trend. We’ve decided we’re to name her Carabella, nicknamed Cara. What middle names do you like (please not too many!)? When you suggest something make sure it sounds good with both Carabella and Cara. Thanks! Oh, and the middle names don’t have to be Italian! We’re thinking about Carabella Rose, Carabella Jane, and Carabella Ann. ~Dan, Becky, Aria, and Lucia Johnson
Hi, my name is Jane Hayes. I have three daughters. My oldest daughter, Ann, is 27 and having her first baby, a girl, in June. She and her husband (their last name is Slate) are very determined to name their baby Linnea, but pronounced like Lynn-ee-uh. Is there even such a name? I’m fine with it, but we’re trying to help them figure out how to spell it so it’s pronunciation is pretty straightforward. I was thinking Lynnia, Linnia, Lynnea or Lynia. What do you think? ~Jane
