Fun! Baby Name Polls
Hone your baby naming skills and help others. Which baby names are best?
I made a poll a few days ago asking for names that could give you the nn Edie...I LOVE Edie but I wanted it as a nickname not a first name. These are two that I have found that I like. Which do you like better? Edelle is a misspelling of Adele but pronounced the same. Do you think that matters? I dont usually like the trendier names that are spelled differently to make them modern. Is Edele/Edelle to weird? Which spelling do you prefer?
I’m using a somewhat unisex first name for my boy on the way so am looking for masculine....BUT NOT OLD-FASHIONED middle names! I like some-what trendy, uncommon names. I cannot stress the not-old-fashioned part enough. I truly dislike mn’s personally like James, Nathaniel, William, Micheal, John, Joseph, Thomas ect- it is just not my style. I am looking for very masculine but just not old names. Thanks very much for your help
Which name do you like better?
We have decided to name our son Emerson, does anyone have any middle name ideas? thank you!
Hey again. Two days ago our beautiful, identical quads were born: Caroline Anne, Madelyn Kate, Victoria Rose and ???. We are down to these two names for our last little miracle, and need your help because they want the birth certificates by tomorrow. Please help us out. Thanks!!!~Rick, Ella, Carrie, Maddie, Tori, and Jessie/Ally
Which sounds best?
Ok, so I posted about Easton and got some good feedback, and I have now found River, what do you think about it? Thanks!
Thank you to those that voted on my poll. We decided on Madeleine. We are going to continue thinking about middle name. I feel less stressed now that we are confident with our first name choice. I’m not stressing so much about the mn. We have until September to decide. Again, thank you to those that took my poll seriously. Good luck on naming your child :)
Okay, so we’re looking at names for our second child and I’m worried about accidentally starting a "pattern" with initials or whatever that ends up hard to break. I see lots of posts on here from ppl who think they "have to" name their kids with the same first or first/middle initials, which I think is kind of silly (no offense intended). BUT, our favorite boys name combo happens to be the same first and middle initial as our 3 y/o daughter. If/when we have another, is it going to be weird to have that pattern going and not continue it, or will anyone even notice? I feel like a dweeb for even asking. Thanks for comments!
What do you think of Bristol nn Bristy for a girl?
I have always loved the name Charlie for a girl but the spelling Charlie is also the spelling for boys so what do you think of the spelling Charlei, with the i and e swapped? Some of our friends think it looks mispelled but we think it makes it look more feminine. WDYT? thanks, Marina, Scott and baby girl.
