I have a few names in mind, but I need more suggestions. For girls so far I lile Laurel or Ivy, but want more option. For boys I am lookong at Cyrus, Oren, or Sylvan, but am not really sold on any of them. The nature connection can be subtle or blatant, and I want it to seem lile a respectable name. Thanks for all your ideas.

Do you like unisex names on a girl? I’m expecting my second daughter soon and my husband wants to give her a unisex name as I got to name our first a girly name, Layla. He likes Flynn, Reagan, Hayden, Jorden, Nikki, Bobby, Harley and Riley. I’m not convinced. I don’t want people thinking Layla has a little brother, or that we were hoping for a boy and got disappointed. Am I over-reacting?

Me and my husband are expecting our first child, a boy, and my husband has said he wants him to have a surname as a first name, but I’m not sure. What do you think of this idea? His favourites are Donnelly (nn Don) , Gilbert (nn Gilly) , Carter , Jeffcoat (nn Jeff) , Davis and Gibson. I don’t really like any of these, even with the nn. Am I being to picky?

Me and my husband are expecting our second son soon and like the three names above. Which do you like best, and which do you think goes best with our other son Daniel Paul Ryder? Thanks.

Which is best? Baby due in seven weeks (and won’t let me sleep! Lol). She is our first, though hopefully not our last. Thanks! ~ Jade

If we have a boy, we’d like to honor mom’s family somehow by including last names from her family tree as middle names. Our last name is 3 syllables beginning with M. What about these names?

We want to honor special people in our family by using versions of their names, but our first priority is to give our baby girl a great name. Her sisters are Aubrey Clare and Lila Elise. What do you think?
