We have 2 older children named William Daniel (Dan, 20) and Katherine May (Kate, 17). We are in the process of adopting 2 Guatemalan children. Their names are Isabel-Noemi (No-ay-me) Sara (1) and Catalina-Elisa Maite (My-tay) (2 months). We are wanting to change their names to Isabel Naomi (nn Issy) and Elisa Mae (pron. Alyssa, nn Aly) we are wanting to know if it would be a bad idea to change Isabel’s name since she’s gone by Noemi since birth. Thanks, Will, Paula, Dan & Kate Levoux (Le-vo)
