I want to name my son after my brother, John Kennedy Calhoun, who died about a year ago. (My son is due on John’s birthday). I don’t know how I should go about honoring my brother’s name. I am considering giving my son the initials JC because that was John’s nickname. Any Ideas?

My last name is Read. Do you have any suggestions for my son or daughter’s name? I am looking for first and middle name combinations. I don’t care for odd names or spellings. Thanks.

I am pregnant w/ my 1st child a boy! I am really exited to pick out his name, and I plan to have lots of other children. And I thought it would be neat if there names all came from different cultures. Do you have any names that come from a specific culture that you really like? If you do please share with me. Thank you.

Our daughter is due Feb. 16th. Our 2 year old is Ava Kinsley. There are a handful of names we really like. I love the combo Karys Elizabeth a lot, but my name is Kara. Are those names too alike? What about if it’s spelled Carys? Other names we like are Sienna, Ella, Juliana (Ju-lee-on-uh), Sophia, Heidi, Isabella, Julie, Cadence, Kendall, Julia, Adriana (Ay-dree-on-uh), Lily, Violet, Gabriella, Lola Grace, & Hailey. Suggestions and combinations of these welcome. Thanks ~ Kara & Jeff

Hi! my husband and i have two daughters and we are expecting another soon. our daughters’ names are Aisling (Ash-ling) and Greer. they are both celtic names and we were thinking of keeping the theme and naming this daughter with another celtic name. (my husband’s family is celtic) what do you think? another thing is we don’t want to do it if we have boys so we were thinking since our girls have non-celtic mns (Janae and Alissa) to name the boys with celtic mns and non-celtic fns. what do you think about this? and what should we name our daughter if we want another celtic name? we don’t want anything popular or common (as you can see by our daughters’ names!) thanks so much! Kristen and Connor
