Lara. How would you pronounce it. I pronounce it Lar-uh. However, there was a girl on tv yesterday with Lara pronounced Lare-uh.

I kinda have a thing for unusual names for children, see my First and only daughter so far is named Yazmyn Elayne Nguyen. Im white where as my husband is a mix of south american and asian. We figured nothing common for our kids.

Hi. I posted earlier today about Mara being near Tamara, Samara etc. I’m still considering it as a fn. My sister suggested it and I liked it though I’ve never heard it before. She pronounces it as Mar-uh. I like it as Mare-uh. Which pronun. do you like better? Do u know anyone called this. It’s not common on statistics, but I have seen it several times on these polls.
