My Great Grandmothers name was Colleen. I like Rachel but I’m not not sure about Rachel and Colleen together. Rachel means ewe and Colleen means girl so her name would be "sheep girl." Is this silly? Suggestions welcome but I am also drawn to Rachel Audrey, Rachel Brooke, Rachel Brynn, Rachel Caroline, Rachel Claire, Rachel Eve, Rachel Faith, Rachel Hope, Rachel Hannah, Rachel Joy, Rachel Madeline (mad-uh-line), Rachel Sophia, Rachel Vivian, Rachel Rose,
or Ridge Oliver?
Really like Lael, short, sweet, no real nicknames (which is good), and pretty unusual, plus a great meaning. If you are unfamiliar, its a boy’s name pronounced layl. What do you think?
Would like opinions on this combination for my husband and I’s first son. Thank you!
We have children Eliza Jane, Lucy Elizabeth, and Jasper Timothy. Please help us choose a name for our 4th (and definitely last!!) child! Thank you!
or Ellis, Wren, Scout or Gentry. Thanks!
Hi, we’ve done several of these polls now trying to find a mn that flows well with our surname. It’s so hard! Please tell us honestly what you think? Thanks
Does Madeline (Mad-uh-line) have to go be shortened to Maddie/Maddy? Are there any other nicknames? I like Ellie madELine but I call my oldest "L" sometimes for her initial. I also like "M" which is awesome for me because I like Emma/Emily but they’re already taken.
Got a problem. Finally settled on the perfect name, Harriet Ivy, (Ivy is a family name), but then realised our surname starts with V so her initials would be HIV. Is that going to cause her issues? Will she be teased? Or is it likely nobody will notice/care?
How should we spell Care-iss? We are not doing Carys (CA-riss)
