My husband is from America and I am from the UK. Were having our first child due in August. We dont know the sex of the baby and choose not to. I have only lived here in America for two years, so I dont know too many "American" names. I worry that if we choose one of our favourite names, that is more of a traditional British name that the child will be made fun although my husband does not think so. Any ideas for a more American name??? Charley and Gemma PS- In case you were wondering the "British" names that are our favourite are Eppie, Gilliana, Evelia, Idalia, Letty for girls and Kelby, Allastor, Alfie, Bradford, Blaise for boys.

We are having a baby girl and need help picking a name. We tend to like unisex or unusual names that you don’t hear everyday. Any suggestions?

My husband and I are expecting our first child (a surprise) in 2 weeks time. My husband is Irish and I am Welsh and therefore want to incorporate this into our first child! We have our girls name Ariana Siobhan Elliott, but are still umming and arring over our boy!

I’m having trouble finding names that are preferably 2 syllables that end in the ee sound to go with the names of my children: Lucy, Callie, Janie. Also, I’m trying to stay away from names that begin with these letters, L C J. I’m drawing a blank so any help would be great!
