I have always love the nn Liv, and I want to use it for my daughter. My cousin just recently had a daughter and named her Alivia and calls her Livia. Livia is what i was planning on naming my daughter. I have decided that I do not care that the name is used because we are not that close. What are some other names that can have the nn Liv? Do you think Liv can stand on its own?

Hi. We are doing an open adoption with a family at churches daughter. We know her very well and have watched her grow up so we want her to be able to come see her (our) babies whenever she wants. So anyways, we decided we would let her help with naming the babies. Twin girls by the way. Well for some reason she chose the names Harmony & Lyric. We did agree we would let her choose the first names of the girls, but are those two names too odd paired together? Honesty please. Also this girl is not a teenager! She is 21 years old, but she has been a little "casual" in her personal life to say the least and doesnt think she can handle two babies. (Just for clarification & so no one thinks theres another pregnant teen who’s giving their babies away). Thank you all -Emma & George

Hey everyone! I’m pregnant with a little girl (my fifth), and I’m having trouble coming up with a name. Me and my husband like unusual name, and we can’t decide on one to go with our other girls’ names. I’ll put our list in the first comment. Our girls are Pilar Madaleigh(12-pronounced puh-LAR), Martie Angela(10), Raine Matilda(6), and Islyn Isabeaux(3-pronounced EYE-lyn). Thanks! -Craig, Enye, and the girls!

I love this name but am torn by the spelling. I usually like traditional spellings which would be "Charlize", but that feels like it would be the American way to spell it and "Charlise" would be more Australian. What do you think?
