Hi we’re having a baby girl. I love old-fashioned names. We are set on the middle name Violet. But what do you prefer for a first name?

I asked this last night but can’t find my poll. So Ill try again. I’m due in July. My husband and I. Have decided on not finding out the sex of our baby. We are stuck on name choices. We need first and middle names. Boy and girl. We like names that sound southern/country. For example we have 6 year old son named Jason Alan and a 4 year old daughter her name is Samantha "Sam" Jean.

We have the name Evan Matthew picked out for a boy and Brittyn if it’s a girl. My due date is growing nearer and I’m having second thoughts about using the name Evan, because I have noticed it’s used on girls. Our other kids are Payton Elizabeth, Branson James, & Ellisyn Grace. We have other names that we love also, I will post them in the first comment. Wdyt we should do?

We LOVE Atticus...but can’t find the right middle name. I like Grayson. Our last name is Cruise (like the ship). Any suggestions? We are looking for a name that "flows" from start to finish.

My husband wants to name our little boy after himself - Linwood - but I’d rather give him his own name. Any suggestions for names with a similar feel?

Me and my husband are expecting a daughter and she will be the only child we ever have due to health complications. We always planned on naming our son after my husbands uncle, who raised him and who my husband considers to be his role model. That was always the plan. But now we have found out its a girl, and although we don’t mind, we would still like to honour the uncle. Do you have any suggestions on how to put a feminine twist on David??? Thanks for any input - Katie

These are our final two names. I really wanted to spell Ryley like Riley, but my husband says that that’s the "boy spelling" so to compromise we spelled it Ryley. Rylie is out. Thanks! - Lily

We have two adopted daughters, Meilani (pronounced May-Lah-nee) and Iekika (prononuced Ee-kee-kah). Yes, they are Hawaiian. We are so shocked, but so very excited to be having a biological daughter in June. We love the name Joy so much and really want to use it, but are having a hard time finding a good middle name. The ones above are some we are considering. We do like them a lot, but do they flow and sound good? If not, could we get some more suggestions? Thank you, Dave, Sarah, Mei, Kika & Joy Martin
