Pronunciations... Paola Andrea (Pa-O-luh Ahn-DRAY-uh) Alejandro Andres (Ah-lay-HAHN-dro Ahn-drayce) DH is Colombian and we want names to reflect this. Don’t know sex yet. These are our choices. We are thinking of these girls names, and also Cordelia is a possibility. I am looking for something uncommon, but sensible and not "made up". I like Ramona but am worried about her getting called "moaner" or something like that. I like the nn "Romy", but not "Mona" so much. I am concerned that Ellery will be too similar to popular names like Ellie, etc. But I do like the nn "Ellie", or "Ella". Any comments? Our last name starts with B, is kind of common, with 2 syllables.

I posted a poll asking for ways to combine my three sisters names or nicknames to honor all three in my daughters name. Their names are Eliza, Katherine, and Josephine, nicknames Ellie, Kate, and Josie. Someone came up with Joella Kay and I just love it, and luckily my husband likes it too. That do you think, is it too contrived or is it a good way to honor all three? We were also thinking Joella/Joelle Kate. Thanks

When you think of Suri do you immediately think of Tom and Katie’s child? I love the name as it means ’Princess’ but I don’t want her to get associated just with Tom and Katie’s daughter.
