Hello! My Boyfriend and I are shocked to find out we are expecting our first child together. We have been going back and fourth with boy names for a couple weeks now. If it is a girl we are pretty sure we want to name her Mallory but are not sure what spelling and middle name we want. We do not know the sex of the baby. I will post boy and girl names in the first comment. Thank you. ~Courtney and Chris

I am currently expecting my second son, and having a hard time coming up with a name. My first son is named Tyler Matthew and I want his brothers name to sound good with his, so I will need suggestions. First question..... since my firat son has a "traditonal" first and middle name, should I stick to that for all future children, or would it sound ok to go for a much less used name for this one? Second question.... one name I like is Carter..... maybe Carter Lee, but a hs friend has named her son that. I haven’t seen her since hs, and we have recently gotten back in touch thru facebook. I will be moving back to our hometown (where she still lives) in the next few months, and possibly reconnecting. Is that too close to concider the name? At what point do you call the name "off limits" cause its been used, and where do you concider it distant enough that you can use the name too.

Both our children have red hair, after my husband, and blue eyes, after us both. It is possible that the next little bundle of joy will have red hair too. What name can you imagine on a red-headed little boy with blue eyes? The hair isn’t very light; it’s more of a dark red, like auburn. If it helps, we have Emilie Rachel, 6 and Leila Madeline, 3.

Hello. We’re expecting our first child. We don’t know the sex yet, but we want to get names going already. We’re looking for long names with nicknames. We like vintage names, offbeat names, cool sounding names, just nothing too popular. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks - Nate and Giulia.

My husband is sold on the name Denton for our son. He loves it! I really don’t care for it. At first I thought it may have had family significance, etc.- it does not! Please help me convince him that Denton is not the way to go! THANKS!!!

Im tryin to find a great name, pretty, cute but not too popular. Im not looking for something to classic like Sarah, Elizabeth, etc. and nothing to old like Ediths, Claire, Katherines, etc., not to 80s and 90s like Ashley, Kayla, etc. and dont like at names like Winifred, Finley, etc. I like Avery, Addison, Emerson, etc but they fall into the overused to me. Help! Need some great suggestions! Please not made up sounding unless they are made up and dont sound it lol, and nothing out there like Beowolf, Mercury, Cranberry etc. Oh and PS its for a girl!

I am going to have b/g twins and have decided to call the boy Rory Lachlan, a name I’ve always loved and imagined I would call my first son. Can you suggest girls names to go with it?

We love the name Roxie for our soon to be little girl, but not sure it its too much of a nickname to be used by itself. I know there is a current trend of using nickname names right now (like Alfie/Millie etc) but we’re not sure. We don’t like Roxanne but we are liking Roxana. We’re not sure on the pronuncitation either. Should it be Rox-ah-na or Rox-an-na? Think I prefer the first slightly more. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks, Kieran and Serena
