or Brittlynn for our little girl? If you don’t like any of these names, any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated. The name must start with BR though, it’s a family thing. Thanks guys! -Brent, Kelly, Bryce, and Brody Hardwick

I just did a poll on Connory. I am not sold on it yet but I do like it better than most names I have come acrossed and my husband is on board so that is BIG. Problem is that everyone who commented on it said "It goes great with your other sons name!" I guess I am worried that people liked Connory when paired with Keirnan, my four year old, but that on its own it will not be as well liked. I want my kids names to sound good together but I also want them to stand alone well as they will have their own separate lives. What would you think of Connory if I didn’t have Keirnan? Did that make sense?lol-Thanks!

Why is it that unique/uncommon names for girls are almost always pretty (excluding ’unisex’ names) but for boys they’re all ugly? We’ve been searching for the longest time for an uncommon boys name, but every name suggested is just so ugly! Are there any nice ones out there?

As I’m mulling over names for my baby, I’ve been deeply concerned about the impact a given name will have on the evolution of his or her personhood. . . How he or she will be perceived, how they will define themselves in comparison to their peers, etc. Do you think names have power to define and shape people or do you think the opposite is true?? I can’t decide. .
