I struggle with getting pregnant. A few years ago I lost a baby boy due to a second trimester miscarriage. We are finally pregnant again, and are thinking about naming our second son after the one we lost. What does everyone else think of this? Is it something you would avoid? Or would you do it? We would appreciate your honest opinions. Thank you.

Hey, I’m execting a little girl in september and my husband and i have narrowed it down to two names: Lily or Charlotte but we need middle names which go with either of these. She’s joining big sisters, Sophie Rose and Emma Grace, so a one-syllable middle name would be nice to match the others but it doesn’t have to be. Thanks for your help!

Hi! My name is Courtney and my partner’s name is Cameron. Our first child is due at the end of August and it’s time we got serious about choosing a name. We are leaving the gender as a suprise, so we will post our favourite girls and boys names in the first comment. Please let us know what you think!

My husband and I have very common names. I’m Kristin and he’s Michael. All throughout school we’ve been one of many and had to be Kristin M or Mike S. We really want different for our kids. Does anyone on here or know someone who has a different name growing up? Was it hard? Did you hate it? Love it? Or has anyone given their kids a different name? How are they holding up with it? We don’t plan on going too crazy..nothing made up and nothing you can’t pronounce! Just a little different so they won’t be 1 of many like mom and dad always were. We would love some input! Thanks a lot!

We plan on naming our little boy Rohan, and if its a girl Rhylan. We haven’t come up with any middle names yet. Any suggestions would really help. Also we are open to any other suggestions for first names...only requirement must end in "an".

My husband and I are pregnant with our fourth daughter and we would like to keep the tradition we started with our first three strong, so we are looking for feminine adaptations of male names (Georgette - George, Dominique - Dominic, Thomasina - Thomas). We love the strength these names imply, but have run out of ideas. Please help!
