What do you think of the name Calla? My husband, parents and I just love this name. I’ve polled before and most don’t seem to like it but a lot of people thought it was Call-a (i.e like Call a friend) instead of prn Kal-uh (like Calla lillies or Cali-fornia).

The name Hayes? I really like it but we’re huge Terp Fans (Maryland College Basketball) and all my husband can think about is Eric Hayes, a player on the team. He’s actually my favorite but that has no influence over the name, of course. Do you like the name for our son or do you think it’s a little weird?

I like the name Lindan (lynn-den) because it has the name Linda in it & that is my mom-in-laws name. I like Aurora & Iola because it has the same meaning as my middle name (Dawn). I like Jean because it is my mothers middle name. So which grouping do you like best? PLEASE COMMENT! THANKS ~ Becca

What do you think of the name Sloan Michael? People say Sloan is a girl’s name, but I always thought of it as a boy’s name. WDYT? Thanks for helping!

I love the German pronunciation of Anneliese. Actually like both AH-nuh-LEE-zuh and AH-nuh-LEECE. I guess I just want the Ah-nuh rather than the an-uh. Problem is I don’t want to use Analiese because it has the word Anal in the name. Any suggestions on how we can spell so that the name isn’t always mispronounced? Thanks.
