When I was pregnant with my first son, we called him Cargo while he was in the womb ("my precious cargo..." that sort of thing) as a nickname while we were deciding on names. When he was born, we had decided on the name Jamison but decided why not go with Cargo? It felt right. So his name is Cargo Jamison (I just wanted to explain that so I didnít get an uproar of questions or rude comments.) I am now pregnant with my second child, a girl. We want to give her a unique name to go with her brotherís name and these are names that were suggested in the last poll that we love. We need middle name suggestions! Thank you! -Liza and Pete

How would you pronounce the name ALESSIA? It’s Italian in origin and the correct pronunciation is Ah-Leh-See-Ah, with the short E, which is how we actually like it to sound. However, we live in the US and most people I’ve spoken to seem to pronounce it with the LONG E sound. I’d love to get some other opinions from all of you! Many thanks!

OK here is the girl’s list. It is quite a bit shorter, harder to come up with girl’s names we both like. Again some of these will be middle names. Comment on what sounds good together. Thanks!

I have several names I’m considering. Please vote on your favorite. Other suggestions welcome. Here is the boy’s poll, will do girl’s poll separately since we don’t know if the baby is a boy or girl. Some of these we planned on having as mn, but would like opinions on combinations. James, Christopher, Ian, Alexander, Clayton, Ethan, Hayden, Adam Caleb, Joseph, Noah, Benjamin, Cody, Connor, Gabriel, Lawrence, Chase , Brett, Isaac

Do you think the name Katrina is too closely associated with the hurricane still or should I use it for my baby?

We tried to come up with names that would honor people close to us: Kingsley, Seeley, and Leander for Lee, Sean and Zane (which are varients of John) for John, Travers for Travis. Any other ideas or suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
