The name up for questions is McKinley Kintzler. We really really like the first name McKinley for our daughter but are concerned that the matching "kin" sounds in both her first and last name would be weird. I personally like the repeated sound. When I say the name put together it sounds like a memorable actress or author or scientist. What's your opinion on this name? Should we use it or lose it?

Hi all, I am looking for some advice. My name is Ida and I am currently pregnant with our third child who is a baby girl. We already have a son and a daughter, who both have beautiful vintage German names: Adelbert and Lieselotte. The dilemma is that the only name that has given me the same 'spark' as when I named my first two, is the Celtic name Taryn (rhymes with Karen). I adore it, but it is very different. Talking about it with others I have gotten either 'Follow your heart, it's your baby, matching does not matter' or 'Absolutely not, don't make her feel like an outsider before she's even born'. So now I am turning to the internet, what do you think? Should I use the name I love, Taryn, or compromise and give her another older Germanic name? Thanks so much for any feedback.
