My mother’s name is Susan and my middle name was Suzanne before I got married and took my maiden name as my middle. I thought it would be nice to pass the name along in the form of Susannah for my daughter. I’m not crazy about the whole "Sue, Suzy" thing, so I was thinking of using it as a middle name. What do you think? What goes well with mn Susannah?

I would like to use the name Janet if my baby is a girl (after a deceased aunt). I’m worried that it might sound too dated, though. Do you like it? Do you think it works as a first or middle name? Should I use a variant? The only one I can think of is Janna, which I don’t really like. Older brother is Oliver James.

My grandfather’s name was Solomon, and I’m considering using it as a name for my baby if he’s a boy. I think it’s kind of cute, and I like that it’s not too common. The thing is: I’m not at all religious, and I’m worried that it might sound a bit too biblical, though. Does Solomon sound like an extremely religious name to you? Also, what do you think of Sol as a nickname?

He is due in November. I have decided to use the name Simon as the first name. I was a little unsure because we have a little boy called Ryan and I was wondering if they were too rhymey, but we will still go with Simon. Now I’m wondering what I should use for middle name. Ryan has 2 middle names... Gregory & John for family members. Should I keep the double middle name trend / should I use family names? Some more family names are in the poll. sorry this is long. thanks
