My husband and I LOVE the name Evey/Evie for a little girl. We were sure it it was too weird to have a nickname as a first name. What do you think - do you like it?

Would it be weird naming a little girl Manning, and if so what is a female form of the name Manning that you can think of. We love the name but not sure if it goes for a little girl. -Steph

My husband and I like using surnames as fns for our children. What surnames out there can you think of that could be used as fns? Please don’t post that you don’t like using surnames as first names. I’m well aware that there are people like you out there; my father is one of them! :)

Yesterday I did a poll for the names Lilliana and Annabelle. One poster said that if Lilliana gets called Lilly sometimes than Lucy (my daughter) might get confused with Lilly. Do you think that Lucy and Lilly would get confused? If we do name our daughter-to-be Lilliana, she’ll be called that MOST of the time. Thanks! (Kids names are Lucy, Ella nn Ellie and Chloe)

My husband grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and loved Raleigh very much. Raleigh, sounding like Riley is on our list of girl’s names and we wanted to get an opinion about it being a girl’s name. What do you think of the name Raleigh? Thanks! Katie and Jake
