Hello, I’m Fran and I’m having twins, one girl and one boy. I’m looking for a name to go with Waverley, the name I’ve selected for my little girl. I have quite a few ideas floating around, the sort of name I want is a quirky, unique name that you won’t hear everyday and that sounds nice when said with Waverley. I have a list that I’ll post in the comments if you could check it out and let me know which one’s you like or dislike that would be great. Thank you for your time.
Hey, guys! I decided to make a second poll with the remaining names. You can eliminate ONE and bring back one. Names are in the first comment. Thank you for your help!
Hey! I have 4 daughters and I’m so excite to be having my 5th. I love short sweet girls names. And it was an accident that my first 3 daughters have one syllable names but we’ve continued the trend. We have Laine(12), Paige(11), Claire(8), and Elle(6). We have been trying to convince for a while almost 5 years and after 3 miscarriages and twin still horns we are finally having this girl on the 22(we have a scheduled C-section) but she may come before. Please suggest names! This will most likely be our last so we want the perfect name. Thanks! ~Jamie
Which way do you pronounce Aria? It was one of the top names on our list however then someone pointed out that it is pronounced both ways! That is a big concern for us so we want to see what the general public thinks and how you all say it. We have other names on our list, so if we do need to eliminate Aria, so it wouldn’t be the end of the world. Also, is Aria very popular? Thanks for all the help! ~J&S
See first comment for my list of girl names :) Eliminate as many as you’d like! Thanks and GL!!!
We’ve been posting very much over the last few weeks to try and find a sister for Grace (4) and Tess (2). Although Hazel hasn’t even been in the running through it all, we decided on it last night. I just finished reading "The Fault in Our Stars" (good book recommendation!) and the main character was Hazel. Also, my mother is the only one in the family with Hazel eyes so I think it’d be a nice way to honour her. Last minute opinions on our sweet little Hazlenut’s name would be glorious :-) Thank you for all of your help!
I have a list, if you could be so kind as to eliminate some I’d be really grateful thanks, Maxine
Final three from my elimination poll!!! WDYT??? Thanks and good luck!!!
Hey, my husband and I are running into the problem that it seems like we have very little name choices! A lot of the names we like have been used by family or friends and we can’t find anything we love that hasn’t been used. We like vintage/old fashioned/classic names that aren’t too old sounding for a child (maybe one with a more fun/younger sounding nickname?). Any ideas? Thanks!
We had decided on the name Ellie for our baby girl however we’ve been told by people that it won’t age well! We had chosen it to honor my great-grandmother, Eleanor, but we don’t like any full name for Ellie. We’ve been told it can’t stand on its own, that she will "hate not having a professional name" and that Ellie is too cutesy for an adult. What do you guys think; can Ellie stand on its own and will it age well or at least okay? Or should we scratch it and start over? Thanks!
My husband has sold me on the name Ridley for our daughter on the compromise that she will go by her first and middle name. I always thought girls and women who go by their full names sound so empowered and classic. I just can’t seem to find something I love! I know I want something 2 syllables that isn’t common like Marie, Kathryn, etc that can balance out Ridley. All I can think of are the names above and names that I love but can’t use are Mara and Mina. I would be so much obliged to recieve your help! I’m really struggling with Ridley. Thank you~ Annette
Hello everyone. We haven’t decided on a name for our baby girl who will be here at the end of this month. My husband just told me he’d like to use Mary as her middle name after his mother. Although I only met his mother a few times before she died, I’m happy with using her namesake. BUT we have a problem. Our last name is Christmas. Something Mary Christmas. It sounds like Merry Christmas and our baby will be born in December. Do you think this matters as it’s only her middle name? Or should we used a variant of Mary? First name suggestions welcomed too. Thanks! Helena and Theodore
