My husband and I are going through names, our baby girl isnt due until 4 more months. We came across the name Nikayla, Nikki for short. Whats your opinion on the name? Is it a little too odd? Should we go with Nicole/Nicolette instead?

Hi, my husband and I are trying to find a name for our baby girl to go with her brother’s name Theo. We like Tia or a name that begins with a T. Thank you Katy

Do you like the name Tessa or Tess? Which do you prefer? Why? Do you think it’s a stand alone name or needs a full name? Do you think it will age well? What type of mental image does this name give you?

Im debating on nicknaming my daughter Coco. Would that be silly? Also what would be some first name options for Coco? Thanks

So my husband and I are expecting a baby boy in November and the tradition in my family is that the name of the first born son is the Grandfathers first name and the fathers first name. This has been the tradition in my family for a long time and I would be more than happy to name our son Leslie after my grandfather. My husband likes the name but he is worried that the name has become too much of a girls name. I really don’t want to break with tradition because I fear it would crush my grandfather. I am really looking for honest opinions. We would probably call the baby Les for short.

My husband and I are expecting our first baby, a girl! We’ve had the name Shawver picked out for about three years. It’s a family name from his side. We’ll pair it with a soft girl’s MN like Rose, ect. and her nickname will be Shaw. What do you think? Should we use it as her first name or MN instead? Thank you- Laura & Brent
