Hi! We are adopting for the first time, a little girl from China who we finally get to take home soon! We are all very exited but are having trubble deciding on a name. A friend of mine used the name we had picked for her own daughter who was born recently so we can’t use that name anymore. We have a list below with names we like, please help us pick the best one. Brothers are Phoenix Oliver(4) and Damien Sawyer(2). Thank you! - Darren and Hallie

I love the name Seren for a girl, but I feel like it just has that nickname feel. Do you like it as a nickname for Serenity or on it’s own?

My father passed away last year. We’re having a baby this July/August (due July 29) and would love to name our son/daughter after him. Unfortunately, his name was Norman Clyde, and we don’t like either of the names. My father was a sky marshal for the US for many years, so ... I know it’s a stretch, but we were thinking of maybe Skyler Marshal for a boy and Sky(e) Michelle for a girl. What do you think? Is it too out-there or does it work? -Amanda

We are contemplating using the name Easton for our son. We want something unique but not unheard of but also strong. Is Easton strong enough? What do you think of this name? Please leave us some comments.

We have a beautiful daughter named Grace who is three years old. We’re expecting our second, and we love Annemarie for a girl, after my grandmother, Ann Marie. We’re not sure if we’d rather just Anne as a first name, or the two together. Opinions would be wonderful.

I really like these names with the original spellings but I feel there are too many names with Y’s in them (including my name). Are these spellings to horrible to consider? ~Mallory
