I admit, I got the idea for this nmae from watching a tv show, but what do you think of the idea of naming my daughter Jeanne, pronounced like John/Shan (like John with a very very slight Sh-sound)? I’ve always been into more girly names like Violet or Aurora, but I’ve been watching the show for a while and the name’s grown on me. Also, it would make my father, John, the namesake. What are your thoughts?

My husband and I were set on Levi for the longest time. Now we like Ford, but we’re getting thumbs down from family. We also like Miles. What do you think?

for siblings? I have a son Ramsey who is 3, what do you think of the name Sadie for his sister, just Sadie, not the longer versions. Thank you!

Hi! My name is Kelsey and my husband, Chris, an I are expecting our first daughter. As a child, I was always extremely close to my great-grandmothers and grandmothers (I had 3 grandmothers because my mother’s parents got divorced and remarried. I would like to name my daughter after them. Her first name will be Lily, after my great-grandmother Lillian. As many names we can fit in without her name sounding clumped and not attractive I would like to include. Okay here their names - Mary Clara - Sandra-Jane ( she had a double name ) - Patricia Dorothy - Anita Laurel I know this is unusual. But, it is really special to me. Thanks! - Kelsey, Chris and Lily

Okay, so we’re having our second girl, and these are our top two names. Middle name is after her grandmother. Please vote on which you like best. Also, which goes best with big sis Alena? I sort of feel like Elise and Alena are almost too much alike, whereas Keira and Alena are both a little European sounding, but not too matchy-matchy. Thanks so much!

Do you like the name Lyra? I don’t like Kyra (my brother is Kyle). But thought of this name yesterday and kind of liked it. Thanks
