We are having a little girl in October. My husband says that he likes the name Lainey but thinks that it sounds like a NN. He wants our daughter to have a name that has the NN of Lainey. Besides Laine and Elaine, are there any other names that you guys can think of to use Lainey as her NN? thank you!!

I gave birth to quadrouplets last week and we still have not named one. I gave birth to two girls and two boys. I have named one girl, Iona Grace and the boys, Joshua Michael and Joseph Andrew, but we are stuck on what to call the other girl.

Cade is my father’s first name... Allen is my husband’s middle name and his mother’s maiden name. My husband isn’t sold on naming our son after my Dad, but I think Cade is a great name as a first or middle name. What do you all think?

I used my late brothers name as my first sons middle name. I am now expecting twin girls, and want to use my mothers first and middle names as their middle names. My issue is my sister. I have a feeling she is going to feel slighted that she was left out, but I do not want to name my child after her. We have had a strained relationship and her middle name does not go with the first names a want to use. Should I name them both after my mother, or name one after her to keep the family peace? How would you feel if you were her?

I am a botonist and I eanted to name my twins with plant inspired name...but not in an obvious way (ie Rose or Lily). I will explain the name in the first comment...and I still haven’t found a second possible boys name, so suggestion welcome.
