I’m expecting my first child - a girl next month, and I’m completely stuck on names. I’ve been searching the books and this site for names and there’s nothing that I LOVE. I want a name that no other girl in her class is going to have, but I don’t want anything too "out there". Please, please help me! Thanks, Susan.

Hey mommies! My husband and I had found Penelope, which we thought was the perfect name for our daughter and fit exactly what we are looking for. However, my sister and her husband just named their newborn baby Penelope! We have a lot of things that we are looking for, so if you can think of any that follow those "guidelines", please, PLEASE comment them! The names cannot start with the letters K, C, L, S, B, G, or E; they have to be old fashioned names with a nickname option; and they cannot be unisex or a boy name. If you are able to give suggestions, thank you SO much! -The Kopitar Family

We would love to get our list down to one per gender. You can eliminate one per gender and bring a name back, and give a middle name suggestion for ur favorite. Thanks

Three of my friends have come on here asking for help for their babies’ names, and you’ve all helped them choose great ones!! Anyways, I finally get to experience the joy of children, as my husband Marty and I are FINALLY pregnant! We’re thrilled. One of my friends did an elimination poll for her boy, and she said it was really helpful in narrowing down the list they couldn’t narrow down. Please eliminate one name from our long list. Say why if you can :) Thanks for all your help! -Mollie and Marty, plus little girl

Just thinking of names to name my baby. We don’t know the sex. The baby’s nursery is bunny rabbit themed. Thank you so much. -Suzanne

I just had an elimination poll for my twin boys’ first names. Now I need it for their middle. There were comments on how Luke and Owen would sound really good as well as sayer and Tucker. If you think that’s the case please comment about that as well. I will have the names in the first comments for the elimination. Again I will officially eliminate it when it is voted off twice. No bringing back. It’s just gets confusing. Thank you all

What are some girl names that are uncommon but still acceptable? I like names like Emma and Sophia, but everyone says they’re too common. However, when I’ve chosen unusual names, people say they’re too weird. I’m confused and could really use some suggestions!!

Hey it’s Phillip(the not pregnant guy) again, I know I said I’d leave you alone, but the dudes at work said I should set up a poll and have them vote on it, so we’re kinda staging a total guy invasion here.(A quiet day at work=baby name voting?) A girl’s perspective is cool too, since you ladies probably have better taste than us dudes do.(And Vivien is not an option, guys, no matter what you say!) If you’re sick of guys on the baby naming website, just tell us to bug off. thanks again! From Phillip

Hi I’m Corrie I am 26 years old I am not pregnant but I have a question. As I was browsing through the polls on here and just hearing in everyday life it seems like the only thing teens talk about is babies. Baby names, clothes, how to become pregnant. I even read a poll on here about a 17 year old who left her boyfriend of 4 years for his brother because he refused to get her pregnant. I don’t understand I’m 26 and still am not ready for a baby. Is something wrong with me? Shouldn’t teens be thinking about cheerleading and not I’m pregnant oh no is it gonna be keep the baby and struggle, do a heart wrenching adoption and give up your baby or abortion? Wouldn’t you rather wait untill your ready so you won’t think about such hard things?
