Fun! Baby Name Polls
Hone your baby naming skills and help others. Which baby names are best?
Hi, We have 3 children one son named Luke Edward and two daughters named Sydney Rose and Mia Elisabeth. We are now expecting twin boys we made a poll yesterday and got some great suggestions. Now we need help narrowing it down further. Thanks!
we just found out that its a girl! we want a name that’s beautiful, and a bit timeless, but not too common. For example, I love Violet, and love its classiness and bit of quirkiness, but its SO popular. (i’m a 3rd grade teacher and theres 2 in my class) We also love Victoria, which is just as popular....can you give some suggestions that meet our criteria (also, those to names just by chance start with V, not a requirement) thanks! -Kathy and Sal
Hello! We are beyond thrilled to be welcoming two more miracles to our family. We do not know the gender of the babies but we’d love some outside help (we try not to involve friends/family when naming our children). My husband and I have two lovely children, Sebastian Jagger "Bash" and Wilhelmina Lou "Willa". We tend to like longer classic names with fun nicknames. Do you have any suggestions? We are only looking for first names please! Thank you! -Ed & Hattie
We long, traditional girl names with cute nicknames! List will be in the first comment. Please tell us your favorites, and if you like suggest first/middle name combos. Thanks!
Hey all. We are looking for an unusual name to fit with big sisters Lincoln Amelia (Lila), Rowan Elizabeth (Rowie), Tyler Victoria (Tillie) & Jordan Cecelia (Jane). We will put the names we came up with in the 1st comment space. Thanks, Hannah & Kyle
Our favorite six names for a boy are above. Which name goes best with sisters Celia Jane, Emmeline Grace and Lucy Faith? Also pick your favorite middle name, Oliver, Graham, Tate or Barrett (my favorite name, but convinced my husband to consider it as a middle name). Sex is unknown till birth. Girl name is Hazel Caroline. Thank you! -Luke, Claire, Celia, Emme and Lucy
So, despite the fact that not everyone likes Star and that some people say it’s a stripper name we have decided to stick with the name Star for our little girl because we love it. We liked a few of the other names people gave us to think about but not nearly as much as we love Star. But thank you to everyone who gave us your opinions on our last poll! Which middle name for her? Thanks! ~Louise&Brad
I have a daughter named Edie Marigold and I’m having another girl shortly. As you can see, I like "nicknames as first names". Please vote for your favorite name in the poll. I’m an avid gardener so I would like to continue the nature theme in the middle name choice. The middle names I was thinking of were Magnolia for Bonnie and Hattie and Jessamine for Polly. If you have any more suggestions for fn’s or mn’s, please post them in the comments. Thanks.
I really love the name Libby. I like but don’t really love any of the longer names that could have Libby as a nickname. I need some honest opinions, could Libby be a name all on its own or does it just sound too childish, especially for an older woman? Can you picture a grandmother, great grandmother, etc. named Libby? Please give me all your opinions, whether good or bad. Thank you very much!
We have a son named Brooks, who is 8, and are looking for a name to match the style of his for our our second little boy. We want something less common, a little more modern, and "cool" as Brooks’ friends have described his name. But we also want it to age well and not be something that will look bad on him when he gets older. We are thinking that his middle name is going to be Connor, Shea, or Lawrence(after my dad). Could you suggest some first names like Brooks for our new son please? Thanks! -Cindy
We are having another baby girl! My sister and i have a theme of sorts for our children’ names. She has Bryce(7), Carter(6), Elijah(4), Ada(2), Delilah(2 months). I have Beau(7), Camden(5), Everette (4), Arabella(2). Can you suggest girl names starting with D?
Hey! My boyfriend and I are expecting our first child and we’re hoping you all can help spark an idea for us. We really want to honor my boyfriend’s heritage as it’s very important to him and his family (they’re Italian). So our question to you is, what are some of your favorite Italian boy and girl names? We’re really only looking for first names right out. Extra bonus if you can suggest some Italian boy names that do NOT end in O (my boyfriend’s last name ends in O and I’m not a huge fan of when names end in the same sound). Thank you! ~Sal & Isabella
